What words could describe this? I ran out of them. Even suggester `Obsidian-Fox could only say, "buh!" Ties that bind by =Timothy-Sim showcases two military units from two different countries working hand in hand... and no. This is not airsoft. This is the real deal.
According to suggester *berrd, "This shot, nominated in the Sony World Photography Awards, is one of =Timothy-Sim's finest works. The striking, gritty figure focused on so sharply in the foreground is a solemn face of war. His steadiness in the midst of the chaos around him is what strikes me the most. The blurred action in the background is a reminder of the danger of a war zone, without getting too graphic. It's a beautifully balanced and visually striking shot, and a great achievement."

It's great your work is getting some play - this is a really solid image. I don't usually like short focus but it works well here and your ability/choice to focus on the guy on the right really pins the image nice and tight. Really great shot.
